OWING TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES RUTH AND HELEN HAVE ASKED TO POSTPONE THIS EVENT. WE WILL UPDATE YOU ON THE REVISED DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Ansuz Action has adapted the SBCA model to work in a corporate context with teams and organisations. This
workshop shares our approach, our learning and our experiences, using some client case studies.
Context and overview
Our combined experience of the world of organisational behaviour and development meant that, having
completed our SBCA coach training , we felt enthusiastic about the possibilities of taking self-belief and selfdoubt into organisations as a development approach.
The patterns of self-doubt in an organisation can have wide-ranging impacts on strategic choices, decision
making, organisational culture, emotional intelligence, recruitment and retention, reputation and – most
importantly – happiness and fulfilment at work.
Having greater understanding and insight into patterns of self-doubt and self-belief helps organisations to:
• choose more relevant and effective professional development opportunities for staff
• design systems and processes with self-doubt and self-belief in mind
• improve communications, understanding and support between colleagues
• operate with high levels of emotional intelligence and maturity
We have adapted the tools and techniques of self-belief coaching for delivery in an organisational context – we
now offer a suite of three self-belief workshops, and also facilitate away days, team days and strategic
development workshops using a self-belief framework. Interest and take-up has been very healthy,
particularly from universities and voluntary sector organisations.
In this workshop we share our process, the successes and the challenges. We’ll share some client case studies
and discuss the possibilities and limitations of self-belief in a corporate context. We very much look forward to
hearing your views, ideas and experiences and some good conversation!
